According to the UN report on the development of humanity, State of Israel ranks 22nd in the world between Spain and Hong Kong. The country will have to work a lot on the way to the top: to rid of the title of world champion in idleness, to curb an excessive birth-rate, to stop hoping for tips from abroad. But there also is good news: Israel is leading in the field of hi-tech and mobile phones. In general, there is an impression the Israelis live simultaneously in two different states: one is rich and prospering, the other - hardly balancing on the brink of poverty.
