An aluminium king, banker of Kazakhstan's President Nazarbayev, one of the first Kazakhstan oligarchs-billionaires, chairman of the Board of Directors of Eurasian bank, president of Euro-Asian Jewish Congress Alexander Mashkevich has visited Israel as part of the international conference on inter-confessional dialogue. The conference to have smoothly become a banquet was held in one of the most fashionable capital hotels "Ramada Renaissance". A number of Knesset deputies and influential rabbis from many Eurasian countries attended the conference. Mister Mashkevich, one of the most significant Jewish leaders on the territory of former USSR, gave an exclusive interview.

There was an official visit of President of Iran Hattami to Kiev on October 15-16, 2002. Frankly speaking, I didn't believe from the very beginning that I would be accredited as an Israeli reporter to cover the visit of such an unfriendly to Israel political leader.
