The release of the book about Zinoviy Gerdt was timed to the actor's 85th anniversary.
The materials for the book were gathered by the actor's widow Tatyana Pravdina. "This is a book of recollections of those people, whom Gerdt loved", - she said in an interview for RIA "Novosti. 32 chapters are 32 authors, 32 people of different professions and age. The chapters in the book go in a chronological order according to the time when the person came into Zinoviy Gerdt's life. Every chapter starts with my introduction, where I tell about this person and the way they met with Gerdt".
The book starts with the chapter by Isay Kuznetsov, who knew Gerdt before the war, and ends with the writer Matvey Geyzer. Mikhail Shveyzer, Eldar Ryazanov, Lyudmila Gurchenko, Alexander Shirvindt and many others share their memories about the great actor.
The book is richly illustrated - mainly with photos from private archives, published for the first time.
