It should be a big cultural, community and memorial center of all Ukraine. It should include the international scientific and research center for studying not only the Ukrainian Holocaust but also the European one. The Jewish community is supposed to gather in this center all activists of the Jewish movement, all people, who are interested in Jewry, and not only Jews. This is the reason for building the center. Representatives of all 132 nationalities of Ukraine, as well as foreign guests, will come here. The center is to become "the Western face of Ukraine". If the country wants to join Europe, it has to show its attitude towards national minorities. The center "Heritage" is to become an indicator of the attitude of authorities and non-Jewish population towards one of the national communities.
