A unique project of building a Jewish house for the elderly in Ukraine is coming to an end. It is mostly actual to our country, where more than 50% of the Jewish population are people of the older generation.
The house meets all the norms recognized in the civilized countries, up to special entrances for wheelchairs, comfortable position of doors, etc. The house will provide 71 separate apartments with kitchens, while its residents will also be able to eat at a small restaurant on the ground floor. It will also have a first-aid post, a laundry room, a hairdresser's salon, a library, a hall for celebrating Shabbats, and a cinema hall.
The building is being constructed in one of the most picturesque neighborhoods of Kiev - Sviatoshin.
